Submit Art
Membership has its privileges. Member artists are pre-screened and juried in. They receive a critique of their work when announced as New Artist in the newsletter which they may use at their discretion. As well, juried in member artists may announce their events, sold works, new releases, publications, etc., in our monthly newsletter. Further we discuss our member artists directly with interested parties and they are granted license uncommon to Linked Artists which are only linked on our Artists Links Page. Juried Members on our Artist & Gallery Directory are juried in and receive critiques and may submit their news at no additional charge. Linked Artists on our Artists Links Page need not be juried in, but only approved for content and may receive critiques and submit news but there are additional charges as itemized below.

Regarding Marketing, though not limited to these areas, we regularly promote our member artists to approximately 1,300 art professionals world wide including: Art Galleries, Collectors, Interior Designers, Architectural Design Firms, Record Labels, and other professionals utilizing art within the industry.

Although Santa Fe ArtWorld is specific to Santa Fe, our fine art viewing audience is not limited to Santa Fe; we market primarily in New Mexico, Arizona, Colorado, Texas, California, Florida, New York, Chicago, Washington, Oregon, and parts of Europe as well as various other states within the US.

Santa Fe ArtWorld encourages community between our members as well our viewers.

SUBSCRIPTION BASICS
MEMBERSHIP 300.00
Subscription fee for Juried Membership, if accepted, to Santa Fe ArtWorld is 300.00. Members are posted on our Artist & Gallery Directory and are provided with the SFAW LOGO which they may link back to us with. The LOGO is commonly recognized as a seal of excellence furthering their credit as artist. The subscribed web page on our directory includes an image on the Directory and exhibits up to 6 images of the artist's work on a webpage as well as contact information as designated by JURIED members including: artist's phone number, address, email address, and URL link as indicated. There are additional charges for additional imagery pages, as well as text pages. If we believe the artist would benefit from additional imagery pages, we will suggest it; however, if we believe it would not further the artist's interests, we will make no recommendations for such. Note: artists must submit for Review to determine eligibility for acceptance as a Juried Artist Member. (Review Charge is deducted from first year subscription fee for whatever Membership type artist is approved of. If you are NOT accepted as a Juried Member Artist, or opt for only an Artist Link after your Review, then the deduction will be applied to first year subscription as an Artist Link Member on our Artist Links Page.)

Note: Please keep in mind that Artist Links are only on our Artist Link page with a link directly to the artists' websites unless an image has been purchased. Artists need not be juried in to link.

FormNo pornographic, sexually explicit, or offensive materials allowed. Although nude figures are acceptable, they are not to be offensive by nature. Santa Fe ArtWorld reserves the right to refuse service.

Member Artists are invited to provide SFAW with all information regarding their art activities including events, shows, new works/series, sales, etc., to be used in SFAW's monthly newsletter to keep galleries and other professionals updated on artists' activities. Without this information, we are not able to post it. We will not ask the artist for their information, they are to send it on their own accord, in proper format so that we may copy and paste. Required links to any news provided are to be sent by artist submitting news in a comprehensible format. Juried Member Artists posted on our Directory announcements are free of charge.Linked Artists incur additional charges for posting information.

NOTE: the archived newsletters on the website do not have links outside of SFAW as our artists generally move their information thus causing much confusion for viewers later. All newsletters sent via email have links into the artists' websites, or other pages linking viewers to new works, articles, shows, awards, events, etc., as provided by the artists. If you want the link included in the news you provide, send it with the news you submit as member artist. We ask that artists do not move their links on their personal websites for 60 days after submitting it to Santa Fe ArtWorld. There is no discount to Linking Artists for not providing links with their news/announcements.

Santa Fe ArtWorld does not post news free of charge for artists who are not juried members.

If you are an artist and would like to join Santa Fe ArtWorld for representation as a member artist, please submit either your website or up to 4 jpegs of your work to SFAWartists2@aol.com. If there is an interest, we will send you to Review and make further determination from there.

Once your art has been reviewed by our board, we will respond within 3 to 10 business days if you are accepted. Reviews are comprehensive and generally take between 3 and 4 hours; therefore, it may take some time for us to get to your Review in an effort to give you the time you deserve. If we have informed you that we will Review your work and have not contacted you with 30 days, please feel free to contact us. Review does not guarantee any artist an invitation as member. We will respond regardless of acceptance or decline.

Linking Artists may join without Review. However, keep in mind, should you submit pornographic or offensive materials, Santa Fe ArtWorld reserves the right to refuse service.

Not only does Santa Fe ArtWorld demand quality art from our members, we expect the utmost in decorum from all artists, juried members or linked artists. Any breach in conduct without resolution in relation to our professional audience is considered reason for dismissal from Santa Fe ArtWorld without refund of subscription fee. We do our best to retain our artists as we have time invested in them.
