Think about it, if you could talk to the artist every time you purchased their music, or watched their movie and/orvideo, would you? That would be pretty amazing, wouldn’t it! With Santa Fe ArtWorld, collectors can communicate directly with the artist. Not only are collectors able to view the artist’s available inventory and find out which work is at what gallery, or available through the artist, they can actually get to know about the artist and about their work!
The current challenging economy has certainly been felt throughout the entire world, but many heroes are found therein. Within the art world, the artist and their representatives continue in their endeavors to create a better world and this they do through manifesting their dreams into something tangible called art whether it is creating it or delivering it to the collector. Some might say the artist perseveres despite all odds, but I think it is more accurate to say the artist lives with each creation as a rebirth of the artist’s soul and thus finds creation vital to life. As well, our galleries and the city of Santa Fe as well as many other cities preserve in their endeavors to bring art to the world in an effort to provide continued beauty and real quality enhancing life within the community and all those who visit, share, contribute and collect throughout the world.

Thought of the Month
Well, gee whiz, since the art world has crashed along with the rest of the global economy, why donít we talk about global economics as an art forum? In all sincerity, the current global crisis has been artistically arbitrated, so why not post thoughts?!!!
Anyone care to comment about this issue or another controversial subject? Should we decide to post, weíll maintain your privacy unless you state otherwise. Weíll even find a nifty quote to accompany unless you elect to provide your own!

ON Monday, April 25, 2011, I saw on my neighborís phone application that by 6pm there were 51 earthquakes around the globe ranging from a 4 to a 6 in the last 48 hours, not to mention over 240 tornadoes across the US the week prior. Have any of our global leaders thought that we might need to address the welfare of the common public rather than spend all of our remaining ìcreditî on war? As well, this whole problem of raising the interest rates resulting in the repossession of peopleís home crashing the economy ñ why donít they do the obvious and lower the interest rates so people can keep their homes? No, that would not be a good idea, let us blame it on irresponsible bankers of whom received record bonuses for their perceivably ill actions of making irresponsible loans. . .. Such hog wash, I can hardly stand it any longer.
Speaking of money, why do our leaders blame the tax paying population for what has happened to the economy when the common public is not responsible for how our governing body has spent taxpayerís dollars. As well, let me ask how are the unions are responsible for breaking corporations when those on the production lines do not design the product which our corporations thought would be smart if they designed American product to break as that was more profitable? Furthermore 30 years ago upper level management made approximately 30% more than their base paid employee, now they make around 400% more and then they say it is the Union which broke the back of their companies. I would say it was upper level management having over paid themselves while designing product that was no good. In an effort to correct this while maintaining their salaries and bonuses and keeping corporate profits high, they have sent jobs over seas to people who are so desperate they are willing to work for slave wages in an effort to not starve to death. Soon this will be the case for American workers as they grow more and more desperate every day. I guess one really wouldnít need their home when they are finally desperate enough to accept $2/day as top salary!
Now we ask that you support something real and check out the artists of SFAW!
