Quote of the Month

Scapegoat or Martyr.... that is the question.

Whether tis nobler to be a free thinker and be resented by the herd, thereby becoming the receptacle for all their insecurities and darkness; or to be a dead free thinker, thereby a hero/heroine to the same herd.

~ Virginia Erdie

It is not uncommon to find life in death and death in life.

~ Denise Williams

Thought of the Month

I wonder if in a failing economy if American Politicos ever thought of instead of giving Americans such debt and poverty through Bailouts, if like corporations, the American homeowner might be given the option of Chapter 11 Bankruptcy allowing Home Owners to restructure the financing of their homes so that they might keep them. This would not only save their homes from being returned to the banks at a loss while housing prices continued to drop leaving the house rotting on the lot, but the home owner would not loose their life savings to banking institutions which were paid record bonuses for destroying the American economy.

After witnessing how billions have been spent to presumably save the economy through excessive Bailouts, rather than through Stimulus Packages, it doesn’t take a rocket scientist to figure out these Bailouts have left the economy further worsening antithetical to the promise of our experts. Perhaps a different approach might be considered which would not be of further detriment to our country and the world as a result.

One might note that on page 158 of the Bailout document it states that banks will earn more interest if they do not make further loans. If loans were made this action would stimulate the economy as with Stimulus Packages. This is the primary difference between the newly conceived Bailout and the once reliable Stimulus Package used effectively in the past when faced with economic difficulty.

In light of our recent and newly devised Bailout program, please consider asking your senator or congressman for Chapter 11 for residential properties whether this applies to you or not.

Don’t have a home? Is this not an issue to you? Remember in saving someone else, you ultimately save yourself.
