Second Round - Collector's Choice Awards!
Our jurors have cast their votes! We invite you to view the Final Contestants as well our Jurored Selections. Pieces have been considered for the following: Technique, Composition, Media Usage, Originality, and Style and had to have a minimum of 50 points accumulatively to be considered Jurored in. The top 20 scores have been passed to our Judges.

Introducing our new artists:
o Harry Doolittle, a Scarsdale Artist, working in acrylic, glass, brass, and aluminum leaf, creates 3-D imagery examining the structural order of the universe and human interaction within in observing all aspects as addressed not only by the scientific mind but the spiritual as well and how these correlate equivocally resulting in quintessential meaning of life unobserved.
o Gretchen Ewert, a Taos artist working in pen and ink on various esoteric papers. “Paper, air, skin,” her statement simply yet elegantly stated in meditative works on seemingly weightless paper caressing the soul and relieving the burden of the mundane. Gretchen's works combine the Zen aspects of spirituality with ethereal existence creating a delicate harmony which literally shares the air we breath introducing a new meaning to existence and life in art, or would that be art in life?
o Ritch Gaiti, a New Jersey artist, working in oils transcends history while catapulting the viewer through the multiple dimensions of time and into the spiritual realm where native man coincides in harmony with nature as naturally as the breath of the wind we breath today evoking life filled with emotion in a style invoked by spirit and immortalized on canvas making us aware of the need to harmonize with earth as ancient man once did.
o Meg Harper, an Arizona artist working in acrylics renders lyrical imagery filled with the truth of youth while creating visual affirmations of life empowering the feminine spirit in bringing forth the heart of family while washing away the illusion of fairytales yet offering a visual path of how to achieve those dreams so that our lives become as vibrant as her work.
o Master Lee, Sun-Don, a spiritual master and Taiwanese artist, working in oils realizes that art knows no language but touches the hearts of all. Thus crossing all communication barriers in his works, Master Lee bares the fruit of an enlightened message in a journey joining the expanse of time and dimensions to bring forth an invitation of unity between worlds, religion and people. Image the truth, unspoken, where no confusion is found in words and purity springs forth from inherent knowledge recognized from the seed of wisdom planted in the gardens of all mans' hearts. Should the message be received, might the world bloom in a different way?
o Raquel Olaz, an artist from Spain, working in a multitude of mediums delivers a powerful message regarding the moral dilemma of society and the dissection of the feminine mystic; empowering women with the very things we crucify them with further demonstrating how media's exploitation of their beauty leads to sexual enslavement keeping them imprisoned in a false sense of liberty that has more commercial value than factual freedoms.
o Charlotte “Charlee” Shroyer, a Taos artist working in oils depicts a woman's life: happiness, loss, sharing, strife. The things that bring us together yet leave us standing alone amongst family and friends and hours unknown. Her timeless works telling all where peace is found between the great and small. History no longer divides us from our past as the things we are today are only days not yet born but merely borrowed from those who walked before. Without ever referencing tribal unity, Charlee, demonstrates that sisterhood is a bond that survives throughout time without words.
o Rosemary aka Roma Tyler, a Florida artist, working in oils passionately captures the many faces of the ocean leaving the viewer not only feeling the intimate power of this vast body of water, but hearing the roar of the waves as well. Inversely she demonstrates the calm serenity it offers leaving us aware of its strength yet gentle care it offers the world thusly awakening in the viewer a desire to not only experience but to protect as well. Simply stated, she demonstrates the heart and soul of the ocean in her luminescent works
o Thomas Vorce, a Santa Fe artist and photographer focused on the pure nature of black and white photography captures classical shadow imagery with a contemporary edge bringing the art of cinematic drama to still forms and inanimate objects leaving the viewer equating nature to the silver screen goddess in his serene portrayals of earthy subject matter where Alfred Hitchcock would have depicted the antithesis. As well, Thomas captures the tranquil beauty of those enjoying nature, perhaps even the soul within an ethereal plan as depicted in his digital works where aura manifests into form and one dimension becomes another. Both hauntingly serene.
o Francesca Zorzi, a Switzerland artist residing in Santa Fe, renders tranquil carvings in plaster similarly referred to as frescos of the transcendental experience as occurs in a multidimensional state of consciousness between the realms of reality we exist in yet deny ourselves intuitive knowledge of making one aware of the existence of the human soul but that would not be to the exclusion of all others, rather an awareness to take good care of one's own.
