Thought of the Month
WE call it survival with an $ - allowing ourselves to be devoured to feed cannibals who in their greed turn us into a third world country not having any others left to pillage. When we sell out to those who wish to gain all for nothing, does the day we have salvaged really matter when it leaves nothing for tomorrow?

I think soon we will see yet another example of own the world, own nothing especially when the world has been bought so cheaply as to leave billions starving and thus nothing left to be gained. Right now we must ask ourselves if we feed the vultures. If so, we must stop regardless of the personal loss of a penance. The only time to stop is now.

We might say the politicians sold their votes and now we must suffer. Fact of the matter is, those in government have always sold their votes, but we only choose to suffer when the news tells us we must. We can decide for ourselves to suffer or not rather than being lead like sheep through the media. I see many remembering the Great Depression choosing not to suffer nor to cause others to and I herald them! We are all responsible for the world, what do you choose for yourself and others?

It is not a time to stand in opposition, but together. Be selfish if you must but realize In caring for our brother, we ultimately care for ourselves. That is why a great teacher once said: Do unto others as you would have them do unto you.
