Rosemary Rowan Tyler, known as Roma Artist of Nature, was born in New England and has always had a great love of art, especially the sea.
She studied at Massachusetts School of Art and later at New York School of Design.
For many years she worked for the airlines and traveled the world, marveling at the great art of the masters. Always sketching and painting, enjoying her talent, she has devoted her life to her paintings and has studied with some of the most popular artists of today including E. John Robinson, who has had a great impact on her styling.
“As I paint, the reality of nature forces its way onto the canvas. The sea moves with powerful force, the sky expresses the spiritualism of God. Landscapes are my second favorite thing with the views filled with peace and the flowers ease their way to delicacy and beauty. I love the experience of turning a subject into something the viewer can feel.”
Roma has had numerous shows throughout Florida. Her paintings are in private collections around the world including Ireland, Scotland, Spain and Canada
A featured artist at ART-EXPO NEW YORK and ART-BUZZ 2008, Roma was recently accepted to the Santa Fe Art World. She is a member of the American Society of Marine Artists, and Oil Painters of America. Her latest paintings can be viewed at her website and Impressive Designs, Indian Rocks, Florida.
