Art is in my blood.
My father is an artist my mother is an artist.
I grew up in New Mexico in a rural river valley, we had no television and no phone.
I spent my time wandering in nature.
We spent a lot of time in silence.
I painted, I drew.
It was in this rural isolation that my imagination bloomed.
Now I live in one of the most populated areas in the United States.
My art is still an expression of that quite dessert in me.
That quite dessert that is me.
I do it because I must, to remember myself and discover myself.
I do it to discover the beauty in those around me.
I do it to push the edge, from my hidden place.
Behind my pad and pencil I am dancing and singing.
Laughing and crying.
Art is in my heart.
Like so many artists. My art just comes.
I know when there is more.
I know when there is no more.
I do it because it is there to do.
Like a love letter waiting to be written.
I think all human beings want to share something.
I am no different.
Only hoping that what I have to share will be enjoyed!
