Dale F. Zinn and Associates has been a constant in the field of high quality residential design and preservation of architecture in the southwest for over 30 years. The firm practices as a sole proprietorship with Santa Fe native, Dale F. Zinn as the principle consultant and project architect who designs, guides and oversees all projects from client contact to field inspections and quality control review.
The firm has experience with private and major intuitional owners of structures that exhibit significant historic character and importance including, the National Park Service, the General Services Administration (GSA) and several State, County and Municipal property owners in Colorado.
Other work apropos of the rural design experience includes a variety of animal land planning, exotic animal management facilities, residences, barns and offices for the Oregon Wild Life Center of Oregon and Arizona. These facilities including giraffe, gazelle and white rhino habitats, red panda and other specially holding facilities plus equipment barns hay sheds and portable feeding sheds. Recently completed is a first quality cutting horse training arena and barn facility plus preservation of an 1860's log home structure and adobe barn at the Tipton Black Willow ranch in Watrous New Mexico.
Dale F Zinn and Associates has design, construction and specification writing experience with structures of all types and is familiar with methodologies for executing quality structures. As a small business sole proprietorship the firm limits the active project load to those projects that can be easily serviced in a high quality manner. In this manner, the embodiment of all of the experiences of the firm can be applied to each project individually.
